We take a look at would-be actors who thought it necessary to open their Bollywood innings with uber-risqué and sensuous roles

Sasheh Agha, the daughter of Salma Agha of Nikaah fame will soon make her acting debut in the slick thriller Aurangzeb alongside the Ishaqzaade dude Arjun Kapoor. And from what we saw in the teasers of the film, pretty young Sasheh has done some incredibly hot make-out scenes and bare-dare sequences. The debutant, who bears the legacy of the Agha name, also has an alleged MMS to her credit, and in the film she will be wearing some super sexy teeny-weeny bikinis and show off her curves like a teenaged seductress!

With every newbie heroine going ahead and doing risqué scenes, we have to wonder if such roles do indeed help actors make it big in Bollywood. And is exposing plenty of skin onscreen a better option than showing off acting talent? Let’s take a look at other actors who have managed after such a bold start….

 The air hostess turned actor debuted in her reinvented avatar with a small budget film called Khwahish, the USP of which wasn’t the songs or storyline, but the 17 kisses that Mallika shared with actor Himanshu Malik. The lady is trying to make a career in Hollywood, but will soon be seen on television looking for a mate in the desi version of The Bachelorette.

Paoli Dam

The Bengali seductress debuted in Bollywood with a smokin’ hot role in Vikram Bhatt’s Hate Story. And the way she did the bold scenes in a nonchalant manner really had us surprised and impressed. However, her next Bollywood venture, again with Vikram Bhatt, reportedly has her in a subdued role with no steamy scenes. So did the sexy stuff work for her? We wait to figure that one out.

Sunny Leone

 The Indo-Canadian adult film star turned Bollywood actor Sunny’s first movie had people who know and love watching her desperate to see just how bold she would be on the desi big screen. And bold she did go in her debut, Jism 2, even though it was much tamer than expected. She will now steam up the screen in Ragini MMS 2, where she is said to have a kissing scene with Sandhya Mridul. Now that could take her to places she never expected to go....!

Katrina Kaif

The Sheila ki jawaani babe debuted with such a daring scene that it's still the talk of seedy message boards on the Internet. The scene shows Katrina Kaif stripping down to her lingerie and getting jiggy with Bad Man Gulshan Grover in Boom. That role didn’t really take Kat anywhere and she had to fight her way to the top with hard work and high-sale heroes like Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan to help her clinch the top spot. Clearly, the sexy route didn't work for Katrina!
